Abstract: Tile Download Link True color orthophotos for the Katahdin Lake region of Maine, adjacent to and east of Baxter State Park. The orthos were collected May 9, 2006, for the Department of Conservation by the James W. Sewall Company of Old Town, Maine. The purpose of the collection was to evaluate options for conservation of land adjacent to Baxter State Park. The data were collected at an average elevation of 7920', using a Zeiss RMK TOP 15 camera and AGFA X100 color negative film. Negatives were scanned at resolutions of 14 and 28 microns, for an intended scale of 1:15,840. The digital orthos have a ground pixel resolution of one half meter (0.5m).
